Corbel Restoration

I was tasked with restoring some old corbels that were in quite a state of disrepair. After removing a few old bird nests and a lot of rotten wood, I discovered that two of the corbels were still made of solid old-growth wood and could be restored. However, the more complex ones were beyond repair and needed to be completely rebuilt. Before dismantling them, I carefully took measurements and then brought the pieces back to my shop. Using these measurements, I was able to recreate the corbels as custom pieces that would maintain the historical integrity of the beautiful Victorian home they belonged to.
